Fly Fishing is a Way of Life in Steamboat Springs

November 21st, 2011

I’m spoiled to live in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It’s a wonderful small community with a great vibe of health and well being. The outdoor activities we have here in Steamboat are second to none.

I  mean we have some of the best skiing in Colorado. We have some of the best mountain biking in all of Colorado. We have endless trails for hiking, fields for ball games, a rink for skating a hockey, and some excellent waters for world class fly fishing. The Yampa and Elk river flow right through town. I can be fishing 3 minutes from my home. 20 minutes will get me more trout per mile than one can catch in a season. That said, I wanted to make a call out to Sage Rods. I own 3 Sage rods and their lifetime warranty is the best in the industry.

I screwed up and broke my Sage SP 590 a while back and Sage took care of me.  I love Sage and love fishing the water around Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I also love this short video.

Thanks Sage.
