What’s happening, road closures and more!

Things are about to get crazy here in Steamboat Springs. Starting this Saturday, August 15, our lil’ resort town is going to be taken over by bicycles and bike lovers. That is not a bad thing, in fact, it’s pretty cool that for the 3rd time in 5 years the professional cycling race, “America’s Race” formerly known as the USA Pro Challenge, will be in Steamboat Springs, CO.

This time the race kicks off in Steamboat with a circuit competition through Routt County agricultural country on Monday the 17th. On Tuesday, Stage 2 kicks off with cyclists starting in Steamboat, heading over Rabbit Ears Pass and continuing on for 115 miles until they reach the Stage 2 finish at Arapahoe Basin.
