Not Your Average Real Estate Video

…..and certainly NOT a virtual home tour. Producing quality video for each of my listings is something I am committed to.

Real estate video has become the buzz phrase in the industry. After all, using video in an amazing tool in selling homes. And with roughly 50% of Steamboat’s real estate buyer’s coming from outside of the Yampa Valley, I believe that it is really important to give those prospective buyer’s as much of a feeling for homes on the market as possible and video is a great way to do this. If I have an out of town/state buyer that would like to see the inside of a home or wants to see how steep the driveway is, I will gladly grab my video camera and record a walk-through for them.

For each of my listings, however, I record a real estate video with a little more production. I never merely throw together a virtual home tour which is essentially a slideshow of photos. Granted, I enjoy producing video. I’ve honed my filming and editing skills over time and have collected some pretty nice equipment. But I am always looking for new ways to tell a home’s story and to showcase the features that make that home special, the features that often get lost in photos. In order to do this, I’ve started producing “Top 10 Reasons to Buy (insert home address)” videos.

This video, for 695 Meadowbrook Circle in Steamboat Springs, is only the 2nd “Top 10″ video I’ve done but I like it. What do you think?

The first “Top 10″ video I produced was for 870 Mauna Kea. Take a look:

Trying to stay ahead of the curve,
