West Steamboat has a large variety of architectural styles represented like Postmodern Residential, Craftsman, Gable and Ell, Raised Ranch, Suburban Ranch, Split-Level and several more. These neighborhoods developed over time but here’s some general dates of development.
Steamboat II – mid 1970’s though the 1980’s.
Heritage Park – Late 1990’s through the 2000’s.
Silver Spur – Early 2000’s to present
West End Village – Early 2000’s to present
West Steamboat also includes a great little public nine-hole golf course and a private school. There are also many maintained trails in many of these developments and they are converted into cross-country skiing trails in the winter. West Steamboat is only a short drive from downtown but offers great ski area views and wide open vistas.
