Just north of Steamboat Springs is the Elk River Valley. And heading out route 129 you will see some of the most spectacular scenery in Northwest Colorado. Lush landscapes, rolling hay fields, and the beautiful Elk River which hold some of the largest trout in all of Routt county. It’s a recreation paradise. After a short drive you’ll come across the town of Clark. The general store houses the post office, coffee shops, gas station, and some of the best ice cream you’ll eat during the warm summer months. Clark is also home to the North Routt Charter school. A prized school with a rich heritage. Just up the road from Clark is Willow Creek Pass Village – a great little neighborhood with many residential options. Further north is Pearl Lake and Steamboat Lake. The area is know for recreational activities all year long. The summer months offer hiking, horse back riding, sailing, water skiing, and fishing. The winter months offers cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and more.
