Cheap Skiing at Howelsen Hill

Ski for almost free in Steamboat Springs. You typically “get what you pay for.”   But a seasons pass at Steamboats Howelsen Hill, you get more than what you pay for. It’s a deal.

One of Steamboat Springs best deals in town is a ski pass at Howelsen Hill. It’s a small area but if you’re just looking to take a few runs during a work break, or after work, head to Howelsen Hill in Downtown Steamboat Springs.

Season passes to Howelsen Hill Ski Area will be on sale from 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 27 to 30 at the Howelsen Hill Concession Stand and during normal operating hours throughout the season. The ski area is scheduled to open with limited terrain Dec. 1.

Preseason prices:

$35 for children 6 and younger

$75 for youths ages 7 to 18

$95 for full-time college students

$170 for adults ages 19 to 59 and

$370 for a family including an adult and spouse and all children younger than 18.

Prices will increase Jan. 1, 2013
