2019 was another good year for real estate transactions and we were on track for another good year before Covid-19 threw a wrench in the works. To date this year, we’ve had 196 sales, which is on par with the number of sales at the same time last year in 2019, but is still to early to see the effects of Covid-19 as far as numbers go.

For many sellers and buyers, this has put an indefinite halt on their real estate endeavors. However, this is only a pause and maybe it was something our real estate market needed. As we all take a step back and look at the basics, we look at our family, our community and what lifts us up. If there is one thing Steamboat Springs will never fall short of it is the undeniable strength of our community and it’s times like these where we see it come to life.

2019 was strong and we aren’t sure what 2020 will bring, but we are sure that Steamboat will always be a place that families dream of raising their kids and skiers drool over vacationing.  As we change our lives to working remotely and continue to look within, the desire to move to Steamboat will only get stronger.
